Karen Wensel is a retired middle school math teacher and K-6 math instructional coach. Her most recent years were spent in Lincoln Unified School District (Stockton). As an instructional coach Karen received training on ways to support teachers and students with the transition to the Common Core standards and practices. She has a Master's degree in Education and has spent 25+ years working and teaching in elementary and middle schools in California, Washington, Idaho and Canada. Karen is calm and gently persistent in her approach to understanding students' learning needs and developing creative strategies to help them learn and even like math.
